You will be:

• The gatekeeper of clean financial flows

• The fixer when something doesn’t balance

• The heartbeat connecting suppliers, finance, ops, and buying

What you’ll own:

• Processing invoices fast and flawlessly

• Matching POs, GRNs & invoices with forensic accuracy

• Managing the AP inbox so it never becomes a crime scene

• Reconciling supplier statements (you find errors others miss)

• Preparing weekly payment packs that are bulletproof

• Keeping suppliers updated, not chasing you

• Month-end support (clean AP listings, accruals, reports)

• Spotting risks, gaps, and process improvements

• Exposure to the full Accounts Payable cycle (from invoice receipt → matching → approvals → payments → reconciliations → reporting)

Who you are:

• Comfortable working with tools, platforms, dashboards

• Sage Evolution / Fusion 

• Excel + Google Sheets (solid formula confidence)

• Google Workspace

The Hard Truth: Not For Everyone:

• Zero Margin for Error: In Accounts Payable, a small mistake is a real financial consequence. Payments do not wait, and vendors do not forget. You must have an almost obsessive level of accuracy.

• High-Volume Intensity: This is not a role where you can "clear the deck" and relax. The invoices keep coming. You need to be someone who finds peace in the process rather than waiting for a quiet moment that never arrives.

• Problem Solving on the Fly: You will often deal with incomplete data or conflicting records. You have to be comfortable chasing people for answers and fixing discrepancies without a step-by-step manual.
